SASPJ2YAG Egg Painting

Cascarones are organic, non-GMO eggs locally sourced from heritage breed, woodland raised chickens that are fed a diet of sheep’s milk, soy, and hazelnuts.

Each egg is painstakingly filled with confetti that has been precisely laser cut to specification by a guild of skilled, certified egg masters, who hand paint them with a unique design that gives each individual egg its own special character.

The artisan paint provides a textured surface that gives the user a weighted feel in the hand, allowing for accurate and balanced throwing, providing the user with the definitive Cascarones experience.

As you all know, we have been preparing for St. Anne’s Fiesta, which will be on Saturday and Sunday, July 25 and 26 – just a few days away! Our amazing group is in charge of two booths: the Palapa Guapa (where we will be selling the cascarones) and Photo Booth. I have to say that they are the most fun booths to volunteer at.  Very little work and a lot of fun are involved.

YOU are needed for a two-hour shift at either or both of the booths. Come experience first hand why these booths are are a blast to work at. Don’t just take it from us!

To sign up please follow the links, they will take you to the sign up sheets:

Also, we are looking for any crazy hats, wigs, masks, or any other kind of prop that can be used in the Photo Booth. If you are willing to loan them temporarily to the Photo Booth, please bring it to the parish during set up (Saturday, July 25, 10 am) so that we can include it in inventory and ensure that nothing gets lost.

Enjoy the pictures!
